Jaw Pain & Bruxism

Bruxism, commonly referred to as teeth grinding, is a prevalent condition that can significantly impact an individual's quality of life. Bruxism often leads to jaw pain and discomfort, headaches, and even dental issues due to the excessive force exerted on the teeth and jaw muscles.

In addition to using a nightguard, one of the most common treatment options for bruxism is the use "Botox". When injected into the masseter and temporalis muscles, which are primarily responsible for jaw movement, botox can reduce muscle activity which leads to significant reduction in pain and frequency of bruxism episodes.
